At Doğan Plastik, we offer a diverse range of materials, categorized into Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 to cater to various applications. We believe that the suitability of a material depends on its mechanical and economic performance for a specific purpose, rather than its cost alone.

ECO Range:

Comprising a mix of recycled materials from an environmentally friendly and economical range, the Eco materials serve their function at an optimal price. Widely used in Lightweight and Medium range plastic pallets, these materials contribute to environmentally conscious solutions. The pallets are typically dark grey or black.

Mix PP:

The Eco range often employs the PP Mix material, a cost-effective blend of plastic materials, mainly polyolefins with a high concentration of PP, suitable for applications with less stringent requirements.

Regular:

Regular materials are recycled and of standard quality, commonly chosen for pallets readily available in stock. These materials meet the typical market quality for recycled materials, with the pallets usually in black or dark grey.

rPP and rHDPE:

Recycled polypropylene (rPP) and recycled high-density polypropylene (rHDPE) are default options for their good characteristics. While rPP offers an optimal balance between rigidity and resistance, rHDPE performs better against impacts, making it more durable, especially in hostile or freezing environments.

Premium Range:

For higher quality requirements, the Premium range includes new (virgin) or recycled materials from specific applications. Customers can choose the color for these pallets, making them suitable for applications where materials come into contact with food.

PP and HDPE:

Polypropylene (PP) is recommended for its exceptional rigidity-resistance to impacts ratio, while high-density polypropylene (HDPE) offers better impact characteristics, making it a longer-lasting material. HDPE is recommended for crates and containers, as well as hygienic pallets.

Virgin vs Recycled Material:

Virgin materials come from petrochemical companies and ensure a homogenous product with known characteristics. Recycled materials, obtained from recycling companies, may have variations, but advanced technology allows for high-quality results.

Food Use Certification:

This certification ensures that materials used in pallets, crates, or containers are safe for direct contact with food. While not essential for most pallet applications, certain specialized applications, such as ‘White Rooms,’ may require this certification, often met by using virgin materials.

Use in Freezer Environments:

Plastic pallets, crates, and containers are ideal for frozen environments due to their resistance to moisture, waterproof nature, and odorlessness. We recommend rHDPE for applications at very low temperatures, as it performs well without additional products.
