Doğan Plastik (DP) was founded in 1979 by M. Turhan Ünlüdoğan to manufacture plastic bobbins, spools and reels for the textile industry. Following the 1982 raw material crisis, the company entered plastic recycling and has since continued recovery of polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene (a first in Turkey) and PVC (the first micronization).
Expanding with new investments in 2000, Doğan Plastik launched glassware accessory production lines. Within a short time it earned 6 patents and design registrations, became the main supplier of Paşabahçe, and emerged as the only company in Turkey capable of producing all plastic, wooden and metal lids.
Entering the transport and storage packaging sector in 2005 with citrus crates, Doğan Plastik commissioned its second factory in 2007. With the new factory, Dağhan O. Ünlüdoğan joined the family business and took on the global sales function.
With the 2013 investment, the company became Turkey's first producer of foldable containers and one of only 6 such producers worldwide. In 2014, Denizhan A. Ünlüdoğan took over all operational management.
In 2021, a custom pallet developed with the Turkish Airlines engineering team became an industry standard in the Istanbul Airport Mega Cargo operation. In 2023, Zeynep B. Ünlüdoğan Onur took over marketing and corporate communications.

Founded
Established by M. Turhan Ünlüdoğan to produce plastic bobbins, spools and reels for the textile industry.
Recycling
Entered plastic recycling during the raw material crisis; first in Turkey for PP, first PVC micronization.
Glassware Accessories
Glassware accessory production lines were established; became Paşabahçe's main supplier with 6 patents.
Packaging Sector
Entered the 'transport and storage' packaging sector with citrus crate production.
2nd Factory
Launched one of the region's largest and Turkey's first three plastic injection factories.
Foldable Container
Became Turkey's first and one of only 6 global producers in this category.
1.8 Ton Shelf Capacity
Produced Turkey's first pallets capable of carrying 1.8 tons on the shelf.
Turkish Airlines Mega Cargo
Custom air-cargo pallet developed with Turkish Airlines engineering.
